Movin' Along

I just moved back to college (in this case, the word "just" means four days ago) and am getting settled into my routine.  After taking a couple weeks off of my German lessons for Christmas it is super hard to get back into.  Plus I am looking to find a job which takes up a lot of my mind right now.  But I again emailed my German correspondent dude.  It is amazing how difficult it is to write a paragraph that is only 4 sentences long when you don't know hardly any words in German.  So I sat down with my girlfriend (who has four years of German under her belt), Google translate, and dict.leo.org (a good online dictionary she showed me).  After stumbling around for about an hour, I finished a paragraph!!  Oh my, how far I have to go.  But I am learning so much about sentence structure and new words from emailing this guy, it is totally worth it!
FYI, the website that I am learning German from is www.dw.de.  If you go to this website then you click on the "Learn German" link in the blue bar, then click on level A1 (or whichever level you feel you are), click on the "Deutsch Interaktiv" link, make a free(!) account, and off you go.  The website seems spectacular to me.  They have all sorts of grammar rules that you can look at and a dictionary as well as lessons for you to do on your own.  They also have a few downloadable work-sheets and practice schedules for you to print out and do on your own.  It is extremely awesome for a free utility.  So if you want to do that, do it.  I am going to bed.
Guten nacht.

Deutsch ist sehr wichtig.
