So I haven't posted anything in awhile, and that is because I haven't done too much. But I am changing that, I think.
So first of all, I dished up the dough to purchase Rosetta Stone, which is a lot of dough. It may bite me a bit later, when I need to buy textbooks and stuff, but I figured it was important enough for me to learn it. I also figure that if I spend a substantial amount of money on it I will actually learn it, instead of putting it by the wayside. I often forgot to or didn't feel like doing the lessons that I had been, but I do plan on doing them along with Rosetta Stone because Stone doesn't really teach grammars all that much, and that can be important.
Now, here at camp I won't really be able to do Rosetta Stone or anything else much, but I have found some inspirations to still think about it and practice what I do know. I found out that a coworker lived in Germany this past year and also that my supervisor lived in Germany for a year awhile ago. This makes me excited, partly because the guy that just got back from Germany knows quite a bit. So I am going to try to talk some with him. So hopefully I can get back on track with this Deutsch thing!
